The Young Adults Sunday School class at Dortches Baptist Church is an active and vibrant group of young people who are passionate about Christ and Christ's mission.  In addition to their Sunday morning discussions, this group socializes beyond the classroom for game night, movie night, meals, and other times of fellowship.

Our young adults actively attend our worship services as well:

Consider joining one of our various Sunday School classes, which range from young adults to senior adults.  We have men and women's classes, as well as coed classes to enable couples to learn together.  Sunday School is more than just learning about the Bible.  The closeness that you develop with your classmates creates tight bonds.  You may find that your Sunday School class becomes your core social group in the church.  Many classes have special gatherings and outings beyond Sunday morning.

For the corporate worship experience, attend our 11:00 a.m. worship hour for great music, prayer, and relevant preaching.  Pastor Phil uses a variety of preaching styles to captivate the congregation's attention through worship, including traditional sermons and narrative preaching. 

Come back on Sunday nights at 6:00 p.m. for a more interactive experience.  Our Sunday night service includes a PowerPoint presentation of the scriptural teaching.  Open discussion is encouraged as we review current movie clips, custom video clips, Christian media, and reflective contemporary Christian music videos.  The format is less formal and more casual.  Participants leave feeling like they have been engaged in a group conversation rather than passively witnessing a worship hour.
